 The mandate conferred to the Comité sur l’expertise en matière familiale by the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Health and Social Services was to examine, for the Superior Court, the Court of Québec, and the Youth Court, the use of expertise in matters concerning children, to establish a report, and to propose corrective measures. In its report, the Comité emphasized problems relating to the reliability and quality of the expertise, as well as problems related to production time-frames.
