The Follow-up Committee monitoring the Québec model for determining child support, made of up representatives of the stakeholder departments, associations and organizations, completed its work in September 2002. This Supplementary Report was submitted to the relevant authorities in 2002 and again on June 9, 2003.
The Committee made consensus recommendations which have been largely written into Bill 21, the draft legislation on child support introduced in the National Assembly on November 6, 2003, and the draft Regulation published in the Gazette officielle du Québec on October 24, 2003.
This report follows up on the activities presented in the initial report and is intended to be a complementary report.
