Central Authority

In certain conventions concluded under the auspices of the Hague Conference on Private International Law , such as the convention on international child abduction and the convention on the service abroad of judicial and extrajudicial documents in civil or commercial matters, the Central Authority is the person to whom requests under the conventions are sent.
