The Commissaire au lobbyisme (Lobbyists Commissioner) is responsible for supervising and controlling lobbying activities in Québec. He is also responsible for conducting investigations and inspections concerning any violation of the provisions of the Lobbying Transparency and Ethics Act or the Code of Ethics governing lobbyists.
Moreover, the Commissaire au lobbyisme may issue and publish any notice concerning the execution, interpretation or application of the Act and the Code of Ethics, as well as the resulting regulations.
