Awareness campaign on spousal violence
 The Ministère de la Justice and the Ministère de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine, equal partners in coordinating Government action in matters of spousal violence, have launched the the fourth phase of the Government’s awareness-raising campaign about spousal violence, based on the theme Spousal violence is a crime: call your local police department.
At the same time, several groups, associations and organizations are working together to fight spousal violence and provide assistance for both victims and perpetrators.
For more information, refer to the Government Action plan 2004-2009 on domestic violence, which confirms the Government's commitment to eliminate this social problem, and the current information tools.
