The Sustainable Development Act, adopted in April 2006 by the Québec government, established a new management framework within the Administration to ensure that powers and responsibilities are exercised in the pursuit of sustainable development.

This plan of action for sustainable development sets out the main actions that the Ministère de la Justice intends to implement to contribute toward the Government Sustainable Development Strategy 2008-2013.
