Diane Lemieux

Diane Lemieux is at the origin of major research on the judicial treatment of women who are victims of sexual assault. Due to her efforts and to those who work in the assistance centres for victims of sexual assault (CALACS) of which she was president, there is an increased awareness of women's problems in the judicial world. Thanks to her intervention in certain cases such as rape and assault, only the crime itself is taken into consideration.
