The ministère de la Justice du Québec warns the public against fraudulent calls
The ministère de la Justice du Québec has been informed today that several citizens have received automated calls in which a person claiming to work for the Ministère asks them to confirm their Social Insurance Number. These calls do not emanate from the ministère de la Justice and constitute an attempt at fraud. If you receive such a call, do not send any personal information and hang up immediately.
