Pre-mediation and mediation pilot project for small claims matters
Until November 30, 2022, citizens who file a small claim that is disputed are entitled to up to three free hours with a mediator from the Small Claims Division.
In addition, for all disputed small claims filed as of May 13, 2021, centres de justice de proximité will automatically provide pre-mediation services.
