Complaint against a trustee
Trustees in bankruptcy must act professionally at all times in the performance of their duties. More specifically, they are require:
- to provide all required notices;
- to manage seized amounts diligently;
- to avoid giving illegal or dishonest advice;
- to use the personal information in their possession with rigour and rectitude.
Trustees in bankruptcy are subject to a code of ethics published under the responsibility of the Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy.
